Today 30 degrees came to visit us on the Surfcoast. So what did I end up doing?... waking up early and going for a drive.

There is a sculpture exhibition going on in Lorne until early Nov, basically sculptures are exhibited all along the esplanade for people to view this was made all of computer parts. [Ricoh GRDIII]

Funny having to type more than 2 numbers in the title... something to get used to. Today I am grateful that we have awesome seminars organized at uni so that we can socialize and learn essential skills of the trade such as suturing. Also grateful that I did this on a pig trotter and not a real human. Poor piggy, lost a chunk of skin... and needed some suturing. hopefully his little trotter heals well with minimal scarring.

Day 100... wow... finally reached it... about 1/3 of the way now... it has been a real challenge for me to stay so long on this project.

So today is "Mid-Autumn" festival in the Chinese lunar calendar. Celebrations include going out to make fancy lanterns and enjoy these wonderful cakes, called Mooncakes. Today I am so lucky to still be able to enjoy one of these cakes, thanks to my lovely fiancee transporting one from her mum to me over the weekend. It was delicious! thanks Auntie for the lovely cake... I finished it all... hahaha... =)
