Continuing on from the other day, this is the other half of fridge, grateful for my freezer, where else would I get ice-cubes for my coke and frozen peas for my injuries from?

Today, I am not sure how to word what I am grateful for today. Whilst waiting for my train to arrive on platform 4 today, I was amused by a young couple embracing... before I knew it, they were displaying one of the longest examples of PDAs I have seen. I am grateful that although I really love my fiancee and really love giving her hugs and kisses, I am certainly not a fan of PDAs. So today is a photo of something that I am grateful to not be a part of.

What am I grateful for today?... I was thinking... there is one item in my house that I use everyday, and without it... life would certainly be a little less convenient. Where would I get ice cold coke? where would I keep my vegies? where would I keep my leftovers?... how bout cheese?... not to mention... slightly chilled white wine? and how could I survive without milk?... without my trusty fridge, my life would certainly be more inconvenient. So today I am grateful for having a fridge.

what can I be thankful/grateful for today. Ended up heading down to Melbourne with a couple mates after a long time debating with myself whether or not to go... but as most people know, I am easily persuaded... *sigh*... one of my many weaknesses. I am a sucker for a chance at having a great dinner... but alas...we ended up at one of the many fakenese (fake japanese) restaurants in Melb. In one word... yuck, in two words, fake japanese, in three words, bad service yuk. i think you get my drift... ended up having to satisfy our hunger by eating lord of the fries...

although this was not what I was planning to use for my grateful entry. Instead, walking around Melbourne I usually see homeless people sitting in front of Maccas on Swanston and they always make me feel grateful to have somewhere warm to rest at night, and I know it is really selfish of me but I am grateful for them, reminding me how lucky I am.

Living in such a time poor lifestyle, and being not so organized myself, sometimes I wish that I didn't know what the time of day was and not have a care in life, but on those days that I forget or don't wear my watch I find myself constantly asking someone what the time is or being very anxious if I have to be somewhere at a certain time, so I guess my life really does rely a lot on and revolve around time. I am grateful enough to have a little device that sits on my wrist and constantly reminds me that time is precious and to stop wasting it.

Sometimes the postman brings you something that makes your day. Today was one of those days. Found a parcel in my mailbox, great start to the week. My lovely other half sent me a care package!... just what I needed for the remainder of the cold Geelong winter. I love her homemade gifts, this time I received a lovely knitted wool scarf. What more could I ask to start the week with!... love you so much hun. Thanks for making my day over and over again.

Love my pens, grateful that I have the pleasure to write with them. I love writing with my fountain pens and although my writing is horrible, something special to me about writing with these wonderful utensils. These are my favorites. From the top:
Mont Blanc ink - the ink's not that wonderful but the bottle is, that's why I like it
Noodler's Ink - now this is great stuff... bulletproof (not really, it just means that it is water and solvent proof once used on cellulose) and wonderful colors...

The photo is pretty terrible though... didnt really take my time... just set up and shot... then had a look and wasnt happy with the result but at the same time... was a little lazy to fix it... cos my backdrop is actually my guitar case...so it was a hassle to move... lol...

I really love melbourne for its artsy and hidden gems, love trying new places and grateful for exploring and finding these places.... One that I have heard about for a long long time but never actually looked it up is Seven Seeds. I was surprised to find that it was just around the corner from Melbourne uni which I frequent regularly. So onto Berkley street it was... and if I did not have the address, I would have never found the place. Ordered my usual testing coffee... skinny latte. It was nice, not the best coffee I have ever had, unusually sweet roast, with not much of a nutty taste. Milk had a nice texture, not burnt and the coffee was well extracted and not burnt. Pair this up though with the awesome artsy atmosphere, I think it is still a wining combination. A place I would visit frequently if I lived in Melbourne.

4ONE Day-49-22JUL11

Again...problems with my internet... apologies. So what am I grateful for...or was I grateful for yesterday?... I am grateful that I am able to express myself however I feel like... and anyone who knows me will know that I have a soft spot or a real thing for colors. This is one of my most colorful possessions. Buzz-Lightyear Nike SB Eugene backpack. When I saw one of my friends using one at work... I just knew I needed one... it was so bright and colorful. I think colors tend to brighten up people's day. I know I always say that. But I truly think it does. Whenever I see someone colorful, I just want to take a picture of it because it makes me happy.
